Made from strong oak wood, this Dutch dessert buffet was made around 1900 and is a beautiful style that will go with almost any theme. Featuring turned oak columns, a locking cabinet, and two drawers this buffet can be used in a dining room, hallway, or entryway. The drawers are made with hand cut dovetails and have beautiful brass drop pulls. The counter top has two age separations which is a normal, naturally occurring phenomenon that does not affect the structural integrity of the piece. There are also age separations on the left side, both doors, and one of the panels on the bottom of the back. All of these are purely cosmetic and do not detract from the piece, but rather add character to it. One of the turned finials at the very top has about half of the finial missing on the back. It does not show at all, but we have included the condition for completeness. There is some normal wear you would associate with a piece of this age in the form of tiny scuffs, but overall this piece is in really good condition and very sturdy. This server comes apart in three pieces (very top crown, large backsplash, and the cabinet section) for easier moving. Don't miss out on this beautiful and versatile Dutch oak sideboard!
