With this antique butler's tray, you can conveniently enjoy refreshments in any room of your home. Handmade in England around 1920, the tray remains as beautiful as ever, with a lovely patina, a rich complexion and distinct quartersawn oak grain. The shape itself is quite elegant, while its fold-up design means that you can easily store the tray when not in use. Each corner features hand-cut dovetails, which indicates that this tray was very well made, as such a trait is uncommon, even in antiques. It has sustained the normal assortment of surface wear marks, including a superficial separation between the boards in the tray itself. These types of separations occur in all solid wood furniture as time passes. The tray also wobbles a bit when deployed, although it is mostly quite firm and therefore remains in very good overall condition.
